Virtual Science Lab
Move the controls and see science principles come to life. These interactive models are illustrative, not measurements of actual substances.
Safety first: all activities below happen entirely on your screen. They are not instructions for mixing chemicals or performing unsupervised experiments. In a real laboratory, follow your instructor’s procedures and safety guidance.
Experiment 1: Color and pH
The pH scale is logarithmic. In many everyday aqueous solutions, lower pH means more acidic and higher pH means more basic.
Virtual universal indicator
Acidic ← pH 7 → Basic
Approximate teaching colors; real indicator shades vary by formulation, concentration, and lighting.
Experiment 2: Float or sink?
Density = mass ÷ volume. In a simplified model, an object floats if its average density is less than the surrounding liquid’s density.
Cross-section view
Conceptual diagram. Objects may float partially submerged; shape, trapped air, and fluid effects are simplified.
Experiment 3: Build an atom
Protons determine the element. Neutrons affect its mass number, and electrons determine its overall electric charge.
Bohr-style conceptual drawingFor learning only: orbits are not literal electron paths. Ion arrangements and quantum orbitals are not modeled.
